The Tall Ships and the Tall Ships Challenge® will once again grace Port Alberni's Harbour in the summer of 2008. The Port Alberni Tall Ship's Society, The American Sail Training Association, the City of Port Alberni, the Port Alberni Port Authority, the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District and the Port Alberni Spirit of BC Port Alberni Committee takes this opportunity to welcome the World to this International event.

The Tall Ships Committee for 2008 invites you to join them by becoming a sponsor in the "Festival of Sails 2008". In 2005 tall ships from as far away as Russia, New Zealand, Mexico, and the United States made a visit and tasted the hospitality the Alberni Valley has to offer.
